My sisters birthday

On Tuesday in the holiday, my brother and I were at our Nana’s and it was my sister’s  birthday! She is turning four! Meanwhile, while I was waiting, I was watching TV in the front. Until they finally arrived I immediately rushed to the door, just to say “HAPPY BIRTHDAY !” My sister jumped up and hugged me until I tumbled over! I played with her until it was time to eat. We ate KFC and my cousin told me that KFC stands for “Kids Fat Club!”. We had cake and it was so yummy I wanted more but I didn't.

It was so fun I can’t wait until my birthday.

All about thunderstorms

This week, we have been learning about Thunderstorms. I created a slideshow about some things that I have learnt.

Thunderstorms

Thunderstorms can cause a wildfire and a power cut. The lightning can light things on fire and cause the electricity to blow up. The heavy wind can cause the trees to fall or smash into buildings. The heavy rain can cause a flood if there is too much rain.

If you know that there is a thunderstorm you should be prepared and turn off the power points.

If your in the middle of a field stay flat on the ground, because lightning can only strike high objects but if you stay low you will be safe.

The loud noise

I heard a bang from downstairs but I was home alone.

My name is Lira, I’m 10 years old

Lira thought who is downstairs? It was midnight when she heard the bang. She was curious, so she went downstairs through the dark, Lira’s parent’s were still not here, then she starts to wonder “what is taking them so long?”.

She finally arrived where she heard the bang, but it was empty. She walked slowly through the hallway until she heard a thump, she ran to hide, she hid behind the door. She peeked through the door, Lira saw a movement in the distance. It became to get closer and closer, she was so scared she wanted to scream so she did! Lira ran out of the house, and she finally found her mum and dad’s car and she told them all about it.

Her mum and dad didn't know what she was talking about so they returned home to solve the problem.

They never knew what it was but they got rid of it, and they lived happily.

Thank you PwC

Dear Cory Dixon and Jared Holmes,

Thank you for teaching Room 9 about how to save money and how to reduce our expenses and try not to spend so much money on things we don't need.

You also taught us how to be trustworthy. That is something I think is very important.

We appreciate all your help.

From Paisha.
